Gregg’s journey in education began back in 1996 (yes, that long ago! 😊) as an elementary school teacher in New York and has since built an extensive career in teaching, training, and academic consultancy. With nearly three decades of experience, he continues to inspire and support both teachers and students worldwide. His educational philosophy is grounded in the principle of filotimo: a Greek word that captures the spirit of “doing good” with kindness, integrity, and heart. This philosophy drives his belief that education should not only build skills but also shape lives. Gregg is an energetic international speaker who loves connecting with audiences on themes such as Personal and Professional Development, Soft Skills, Student Motivation, and, most importantly, Having Fun while learning.
What: Effective teamwork thrives when communication drives
Effective teamwork may begin and end with communication, but that’s not the whole story. Mike Krzyzewski said it best, “Leaders have to search for the heart on a team, because the person who has it can bring out the best in everybody else.” Working closely and being part of a team involves personal growth and the development of a wide range of leadership, collaborative, and problem-solving skills. Developing teamwork in our classrooms can steadily improve our students’ performance and really help bring out the best in them.
Together we will examine just how teamwork achieves this while keeping in mind the key element of communication.
What: Embracing Failure: Lessons in Resilience
Do you remember your First Attempt in Learning? The fear of failure can be paralyzing, especially for students and teachers who are constantly striving for excellence. By exploring real-life examples, we will delve into the concept of resilience and its significance in overcoming challenges. We will help our students foster a winning mindset, embrace mistakes as learning opportunities, and develop emotional fortitude. Resilience can transform failures into stepping stones towards success, ultimately encouraging a school culture that values persistence and innovation over perfection.
Failure is not the end, but the beginning of a new journey towards greater achievements.
